Job Title: Educational Support Assistant

Location:

: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Education Network Birmingham is currently seeking a committed and caring Educational Support Assistant to join our team at an excellent SEMH school in Wolverhampton. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, providing 1-2-1 support and small group interventions.

You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in managing classroom behaviours, motivating and inspiring young people who have faced barriers to education, and acting as a positive role model. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their academic success.

About the Role:

  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor/Classroom Assistant
  • Acting as a positive role model for students
  • Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours
  • Helping students to reengage with education
