Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Interior / Exterior Laminate Surfaces

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the North East region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our clients' manufactured range of laminates and compact laminate surfaces to fabricators, manufacturers, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell our clients' products to a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, transport, washroom, hospitality, and retail.
  • Target key decision-makers in these sectors, including architects, interior designers, main contractors, and shop fitters.
  • Work closely with our dedicated specification and business development teams to identify new opportunities and develop existing relationships.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, with typical order values ranging from £1,000 to £250,000.
Requirements:
  • Proven field sales experience selling a related product.
  • Experience working on similar commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of selling through fabricators and distribution, with a focus on the commercial and public sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and decision-making abilities.
  • A self-sufficient problem solver with a learn-as-you-develop attitude.
