Job Title: High Voltage Substation Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage Substation Supervisor to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of high voltage transformers, ensuring compliance with National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities to achieve high productivity and efficient work practices.
  • Conduct pre-site surveys to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with clients and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring all team members are aware of potential risks.
  • Control and manage documents, including RAMS, ITP, STP, and site work programs, in accordance with UK standards and client specifications.
  • Set goals and objectives for the site team, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electric construction and transformer installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures.
