Job Summary:
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Agent. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our electrical grid projects across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities to achieve high productivity and efficient work practices, ensuring compliance with National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-site surveys to identify potential risks and hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with clients and installers to ensure seamless project execution, including online and on-site meetings.
- Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring that all team members are aware of potential risks and take necessary precautions.
- Control and manage documents, including RAMS, ITP, STP, site work programs, and HSE, in accordance with UK standards and client specifications.
- Set goals and objectives for the site team, and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any hazards or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electric construction, transformer installation, service, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, installers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures, as well as UK health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
