SITE MANAGER – ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING Due to a substantial period of growth, this well-established electrical engineering contract business is looking to recruit an ambitious Site Manager to join the team in a Midlands based role. In taking full ownership of this exciting key role in the business, you will attract a highly competitive basic salary starting from £55k upwards depending on the level of experience and industry knowledge you can bring to the business. The role will also offer a car allowance, annual bonus, and pension. The Site Manager must be a driven individual with the flexibility to spend the majority of their time away from home. You will have a full understanding of site Health & Safety, daily reporting and paperwork and scope of works. You must be comfortable with client site interaction and show a great commercial acumen. Job Description As Site Manager you will be confident to tackle all levels of project within an engineering environment with a collaborative approach. Additionally you will have experience and knowledge of;

  • Understanding Health & Safety at work Regulations
  • Commercial acumen/mindset
  • Daily paperwork/reporting
  • Client liaison
  • Scope of works
  • Management of multi skilled teams (electricians, labourers, apprentices)
  • Containment/cabling/connections
  • Interpret electrical design information
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE This company are very customer focussed, so the successful candidate must be able to think outside of the box and have a natural problem-solving ability to overcome challenges and provide solutions to client requirements. Additional skills
  • Experience with Amtech/auto cad preferred but not essential
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors in process based projects
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
