Job Overview

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HV Transformer Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of high-voltage transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation and commissioning activities to achieve high productivity and efficient work practices, ensuring compliance with National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-site surveys to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with clients and installers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Control and maintain documents, including RAMS, ITP, STP, and site work programs, in accordance with UK standards and client specifications.
  • Set goals and objectives for the site team, driving project completion and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electric construction and transformer installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of National Grid and SPEN policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
