Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at VF Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing credit risks within our EMEA portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzing customer financial accounts and approving credit limits and payment terms to minimize risk and generate future sales.
- Maintaining a detailed overview of customer master data and relevant risks, adhering to company policies and legal requirements when managing data systems.
- Monitoring macro and micro economic data and trends to anticipate risks.
- Providing detailed and up-to-date reports and data to senior management with commentary, supporting strategic business decisions regarding credit risk policies and scoring models.
- Acting as a key point of contact with credit rating agencies, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing risk-related training to relevant departments.
- Participating in risk-based meetings and preparing/presenting credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risk indicators and areas of concern or opportunity for improvement.
- A background in a credit-related function, risk management, financial accounting, and/or an analytical role.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English communication, with the ability to build strong working relationships and present in an effective and influential manner.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, VBA functions, and Power BI.
- A comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
