We are looking for an exceptional Front Desk Ambassador to provide exceptional customer service to our guests at The Stafford London.

Located in the heart of historic St James's, Mayfair, The Stafford London is one of the finest luxury hotels in the Capital, alive with English character, holding 5 AA Red Stars for its excellence.

The Stafford London is home to the renowned American Bar, a London institution, and The Game Bird, 2 Rosette Restaurant which celebrates contemporary British cooking. Under the direction of celebrated Michelin-starred Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, The Game Bird is inspired by great seasonal British produce and the bustle of historic St James's.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Welcome guests at any time in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing them by name
  2. Escort guests to their room and explain the facilities of the property and room
  3. Handle all payments upon check-out (cash, debit or credit card) and resolve any late and disputed charges
  4. Have a full understanding of all room types within the Hotel and facilities available
  5. Be aware of daily functions, events, VIPs and group arrivals and communicate to all staff via Beekeeper
  6. Inform the Reception Manager of all complaints, and update guest profile notes as appropriate
  7. Anticipate guest's needs and provide them with a personalized, crafted experience
  8. Answer the telephone in a polite and professional manner, adhering to The Stafford's standards
  9. Collaborate effectively with other departments to fulfill any guest requests

Qualities we are looking for

  • Previous working experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel
  • Knowledge of Opera preferred
  • Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive attitude & a team player
  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best business results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and phone manner
  • An exceptional attention to detail
