Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at SuperCare Residential. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to young people with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and Care: Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Daily Living Skills: Assist young people with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Behavioral Support: Develop and implement behavioral support plans to help young people manage challenging behaviors.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of young people, staff, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks, such as recording incidents, maintaining records, and reporting to management.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Experience working with young people with learning disabilities, preferably in a residential care setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
- Certifications: Enhanced DBS check and any other relevant certifications.
