About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Young Person's Resilience Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide screening, assessment, and psychosocial interventions to support young people's recovery and wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement integrated care plans to address the complex needs of young people.
  • Identify and respond effectively to potential safeguarding issues, ensuring the safety and protection of young people.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm and promote positive outcomes for young people.
  • Provide advocacy and support to help young people access partnership services and achieve their goals.
About You:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional who has a passion for working with young people and a deep understanding of the issues they face.

  • Experience of working with young people and knowledge of the issues they face.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people and the Fraser Competence framework.
  • Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
  • Knowledge of working with evidence-based practice around young people's substance misuse treatment services and methods.
