Associate Director of Nursing Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Nursing to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key professional leader, you will provide operational direction to all nurses within the collaboratives, ensuring high-quality patient-focused care and robust risk management and governance arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise and support to the Clinical Chair and Service Manager in developing the direction of the collaboratives.
- Be part of a clinical board structure, developing long and short-term aims of the services.
- Lead and deliver the patient safety agenda, ensuring a safety culture at South Tees.
- Work with other Associate Directors of Nursing, Deputy Chief Nurses, and Chief Nursing Officer to drive improvement and excellence in nursing practice.
- Registered Nurse with a management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
- Teaching and assessing qualification.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of topical nursing issues, local, regionally, and nationally.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of management, handling of data and information, budgetary management, and clinical and quality governance.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff, including the Leadership Impact, Leading Your Team to Success, Leading into the Future, Service Improvement for Beginners, Developing Your Service Improvement Skills, and Lean Practitioner courses. After completing these six and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities.
