Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Associate Director of Nursing. The successful candidate will be part of a triumvirate team, jointly accountable for developing the direction of the collaboratives in partnership with the Clinical Chair and Service Manager.
Main Duties of the Job
The Associate Director of Nursing will provide operational direction to all nurses within the collaboratives, ensuring high-quality patient-focused care and robust risk management and governance arrangements are in place.
About the Role
The post holder will be an integral part of the trust's senior nursing team, working with other Associate Directors of Nursing, Deputy Chief Nurses, and Chief Nursing Officer to drive towards developing a safety culture at South Tees.
Training and Development
The trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff, including the Leadership Impact, Leading Your Team to Success, and Lean Practitioner courses.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a Registered Nurse qualification, management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience, teaching and assessing qualification, and a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
