Associate Director of Nursing and Quality Leadership

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director of Nursing and Quality to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving high-quality patient-centered care and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide professional advice on nursing matters and lead the Professional Nurse Advisory Group.
- Develop and implement quality governance frameworks to ensure compliance with local, national, and statutory requirements.
- Support and facilitate nurses in adhering to professional fitness to practice obligations and NMC revalidation requirements.
- Lead nursing responsibility for attending governance groups and ensuring a consistent approach to high-quality, compliant, safe, and effective practice.

Requirements- Current nurse registration at 1st Level.
- Demonstrate understanding and experiential knowledge of professional nursing governance and development.
- Demonstrate advanced transactional management skills and knowledge of range of models of management.
- Demonstrate advanced transformational leadership knowledge, skills, and competencies.
- Evidence of understanding of models of change management and service improvement.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and application of research and audit.
- Evidence of a recognised teaching qualification and demonstration of teaching and education experience.
