Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Respiratory Sleep Services Administrator to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration needs of the Respiratory Sleep Services team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and supporting sleep clinics and CPAP clinics, as well as dealing with members of the public. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review sleep administrative systems and processes to ensure best use of resources and efficient running of department.
  • Manage telephone enquiries, including appointment queries and equipment issue and management.
  • Support patients chasing results and next steps.
  • Act as the conduit between patients and the clinical teams.
  • Liaise with internal departments and wards.
  • Liaise with GP surgeries.
  • Booking of Inpatient requests, delivering prescribed equipment to the wards and demonstrating how to effectively use the equipment.
  • Adding and building Clinic Templates on Careflow.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) with GCSE of Grade C or above in both Maths and English.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
