Job Summary

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vascular Access Specialist Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our vascular access service, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care for their venous access needs.

\

Key Responsibilities

\

Inserting vascular access devices, including peripheral cannulas, midlines, PICCs, femoral catheters, and tunnelled central lines

\

Assessing patients to determine the most appropriate venous access device for their needs

\

Providing education and training to multidisciplinary teams on vascular access best practices

\

Maintaining accurate records of patient care and managing data collection as required

\

Requirements

\

Band 6 or higher nursing experience with documented management experience

\

Acute ward experience desirable

\
