Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery for the management of benign disease.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical and medical management of patients with severe endometriosis.
- Lead endometriosis and benign gynaecology outpatient clinics.
- Attend the endometriosis multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
- Provide alternate week Delivery Suite sessions.
- Offer alternate week acute surgical cover.
- Participate in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant on-call rota.
About the Role:
This is a 8.9 PA Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist post, covering a career break for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our services.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Deliver high-quality surgical and medical care to patients with severe endometriosis.
- Develop and lead endometriosis and benign gynaecology outpatient clinics.
- Contribute to the endometriosis MDT meetings and ensure effective communication with colleagues.
- Provide excellent patient care and experience during Delivery Suite sessions.
- Ensure timely and effective acute surgical cover.
- Participate in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant on-call rota and provide high-quality care during out-of-hours periods.

- Flexibility to work alternate week Delivery Suite sessions and acute surgical cover.
