Salary: £36,000 per annum (basic) plus up to £6,000 bonus (OTE)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive experience throughout their visit to our dealership.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily with customers. You will also have a strong understanding of technical information and be able to explain it in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts/accessories that will benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customer's car is in the workshop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of technical information and the ability to explain it clearly and concisely
  • Previous experience using Kerridge/ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems
  • The ability to work independently using your own initiative as well as being a great team player
