Financial Institutions Broker Opportunity

Aon is seeking a skilled Financial Institutions Broker to join our Global Broking Centre in London. As a key member of our Financial Institutions team, you will play a crucial role in marketing and negotiating Financial Institutions business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and contribute to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business
  • Review submissions and lead quote broking/follow market broking
  • Present terms to clients/network and record broking activity in market sheets
  • Review draft/final MRC and send cover confirmation to clients/network
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients and respond to account queries
  • Establish and manage pipeline and work in accordance with Aon's Risk Management Framework
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the insurance industry at a Broker or Insurer
  • Minimum 18 months' technical insurance knowledge across Financial Lines
  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems and experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills and good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
