Financial Institutions Broker Role

Aon is seeking a skilled Financial Institutions Broker to join our team in London. As a key member of our Global Broking Centre, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business
  • Reviewing submissions and leading quote broking activities
  • Presenting terms to clients and networks
  • Firm Order broking and recording broking activity in market sheets
  • Reviewing draft and final MRCs and sending cover confirmation to clients/networks
  • Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings and responding to account queries
  • Establishing and managing pipeline
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer
  • Minimum of 18 months' technical insurance knowledge across Financial Lines
  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
