Exciting Opportunity for a Broker

We are seeking a skilled Broker to join our Financial Institutions team at Aon, a leading global professional services firm. As a Broker, you will play a key role in co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and contribute to the marketing and negotiation of Financial Institutions business
  • Review submissions and maintain files
  • Lead quote broking and follow market broking
  • Present terms to clients and networks
  • Firm Order broking and record broking activity
  • Review draft and final MRCs and send cover confirmations
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings and respond to account queries
  • Establish and manage pipeline
About the Role:

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. You will be part of a fast-paced working environment with access to Lloyds, the London market, European markets, and other Aon facilities to deliver the Financial Lines requirements of Aon's clients.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to utilise insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
