Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our children's home, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure that our home is a safe and welcoming environment for our young people, adhering to all relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our care services, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, including Ofsted and local authorities.
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing a children's home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, families, and external agencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
