Catering Supervisor Job

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Premier Work Support is recruiting for a temporary Catering Supervisor to join their clients' culinary team in North Yorkshire. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality dining experiences for students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  1. Menu Planning and Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals using fresh ingredients while adhering to dietary guidelines and health standards.
  2. Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
  3. Time Management and Stock Control: Oversee time sheets and schedules for kitchen staff, maintaining proper coverage and support.
  4. Vending Machine Management: Replenish vending machines with healthy options.
  5. Collaboration and Training: Work with the Catering Manager to plan menus and implement catering events.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality.
  2. Food Hygiene Level 3 certification.
  3. Food allergen training.
  4. Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a school or large-scale catering environment.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (term time only), 7:00am to 2:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
