Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team as a Complex Care Assistant. This role will involve supporting an individual with complex health needs in a community setting.

About the Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our client, including personal care, medication administration, and other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide person-centred care to our client, respecting their autonomy and dignity
* Administer medications and manage medical equipment, such as PEG feeding and nebulisers
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Maintain accurate records of our client's care and any incidents that may occur
* Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

* 2+ years' experience as a Healthcare Assistant with complex care experience
* Nursery nurse qualifications or similar
* Diploma in a relevant health or social subject
