Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant Role
We are a leading education agency, Remedy Education, and we are currently working with a lovely Primary school in Greenwich who is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support across EYFS and KS1.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant who can make learning fun and has a calm and patient nature. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 and in small groups supporting children with Learning Difficulties and Medical needs.
The role would be perfect for a graduate who is taking their first steps into education ahead or further training to become a teacher or educational psychologist, or an existing teaching assistant with a Level 3 SEN, Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification. Full training will be provided and you will be working alongside an experienced SENCo and taking part in regular visits with visiting therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with Learning Difficulties and Medical needs
- Work 1:1 and in small groups
- Take part in regular visits with visiting therapists
- Work alongside an experienced SENCo
Requirements:
- Level 3 SEN, Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification
- Good English and Maths skills
- Calm and patient nature
