About the Position:

Career Teachers is seeking an experienced and qualified Year 3 Teacher for a fantastic primary school in South London. The school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, prides itself on a happy, caring school environment where all members feel welcomed and valued. This is a full-time role starting in the near future.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and Art.
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to Year 3 students.
• Create a safe and motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Implement behaviour expectations and manage classroom discipline effectively.
• Assess assignments and tests to track student performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders to support student learning and well-being.

Requirements:

We are looking for passionate Primary Teachers with:

• An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
• Previous in-school teaching experience.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Expertise in teaching methods and effective communication skills.
• The ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Dedication to creating ideal learning conditions and safeguarding children.
• Proficiency in office software.
• Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits.

Compensation:

Candidates can expect to earn between £135-£240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term or permanent placements.
