About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Chesamel Group. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day-of-event logistics
  • Leading point person for event day requests and managing changes in agenda
  • Assisting with reporting and optimizing event operations based on user feedback
  • Booking event spaces
  • Ensuring the flow of attendees throughout the day, moving them around to the different scheduled sections/events within the space

You will be the on-the-ground site lead for monitoring the space/venues, ensuring startups have a great experience, and managing end-to-end logistics for events such as tech talks, workshops, networking events, and developer roundtables.

You will be the main point of contact for Host/Partners and Event Organiser on site during event day. On site monitoring and oversight of the event operations.

You will lead the project management of working with vendors (e.g., catering, production, etc), security, AV, and other onsite teams to ensure each side is coordinated in delivering an optimal event experience for the visiting startups.

You will design user access check-in experience including new user onboarding process, badging system, user data management and analysis, rules and systems for booking desks, meeting rooms, recording studio and event spaces.

You will leverage on-the-ground insights from event logistics and success metrics to share lessons learned with the Google Cloud team in the U.

You will coordinate all requests from Stakeholders, startups, and partner organisations and startups that want to use the Hub event spaces and coordinate all approved events execution and logistics end-to-end.

You will be the main point of contact for the event hosts, assisting with the event day execution as needed.

You will own overall GEMS Management, specifically all tickets and requests related to Cloud spaces and comms with requesters and event owners.

You will manage Cloud Swag inventory, managing stock and requirements for orders.

You will be responsible for Office/Space Management, ensuring space is up to standards & all is working, main point of contact for troubleshooting.
