As a Child Health Specialist Leader at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a key role in shaping the future of children's healthcare services on Starlight Ward. About the Role
  • This is a maternity leave cover position for a Ward Manager on Starlight Ward, a 17-bedded Haematology, Oncology (HOB) and BMT Unit within BRHC.
  • The successful candidate will have previous Band 6 experience in a relevant area, teaching experience, and mentoring and assessing or teaching qualifications.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, depending on location and experience. We are committed to supporting the development of our staff and offer a range of training and education opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in related area of clinical practice or very clear evidence of degree level study in the last 2 years.
  • RSCN Part 8 / RN (Child Branch, Part 15) or RN qualification.
  • Post basic certificate or related study in neonatal critical care.
