Child Health Leadership Position

As a Child Health Leadership Position, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare for children across the South-west. Our 17 bedded Haematology, Oncology (HOB) and BMT Unit within University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust requires a dynamic and visible leader with a proven track record of management and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for the 24-hour care delivery and management of the ward/area, ensuring delivery of high quality, responsive, safe, efficient and compassionate care. They will also adopt a flexible approach in a role which encompasses leadership, management and clinical responsibilities.
A degree in related area of clinical practice or very clear evidence of degree level study in the last 2 years is essential, as well as post-basic certificate or related study in neonatal critical care and RSCN Part 8 / RN (Child Branch, Part 15) or RN.
Key benefits include a salary range of £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata, based on full-time hours of 37.5 hours per week, and the opportunity to develop leadership skills and knowledge.
