Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. As a member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and care to our service user.

We are looking for a compassionate and interactive individual who is eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior experience is beneficial, we provide full bespoke clinical training to ensure you have the necessary skills to excel in this role.

As a Complex Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting our service user with daily living tasks, such as personal care, moving and handling, making clinical observations, and attending to their clinical care needs when required.

You will also engage our service user in enjoyable and stimulating activities both at home and school, promoting social interaction and physical activity.

Please note that our service user has specifically requested female staff to work on their team.

Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Pet friendly environment (our service user has 2 family pet cats at home)
Desirable Skills
  • Gastrostomy Care
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Seizure Awareness

We offer a competitive salary of £13.00 per hour (approximately £104 per 8-hour shift) and Bank Holidays at £15.00 per hour (approximately £120 per 8-hour shift).
