Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Transport Assistant with Secure Care UK, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently, while providing empathetic and respectful care. This is a full-time position with a 40.3 hour contract, worked on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern or cross-over shift continuous working pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently
  • Provide empathetic and respectful care to patients
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional quality care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering genuine care
  • Demonstrate resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary:

This contract is paid at a blended rate of £12.37 per hour (Day, Night and Weekend Shifts). Shift pay enhancements are also available for some call-in or overtime shifts.
