Senior Trade Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TPS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing a loyal customer base across multiple TPS Centres.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales revenues and maintain a loyal customer base.
- Achieve target KPIs and revenue objectives in your territory for key mechanical customers.
- Identify, secure, and develop new customer accounts within your territory.
- Embed and support marketing initiatives, monitor their success, and present and report on sales and marketing activity and performance.
- Utilise internal and external market data to develop an understanding of potential sales opportunities within the customer base and territory.
- Ensure you are adequately trained and understand the unique selling proposition of the TPS brand, the features and benefits of the TPS product range, and are trained to overcome sales objections.
- Effectively manage your time to maximise opportunities from customer visits.
- Work with TPS Centre colleagues to leverage customer set visits and call objectives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with all customers, providing a high level of customer service by offering a knowledgeable, responsive, and courteous service that reflects the image and reputation of the TPS business.
- An ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience of creating strategies and managing activities to grow and develop business.
- A practical level of business financial awareness to provide valued input and insight at an operational level and recognise areas of risk and opportunity.
- Experience of managing national campaigns and activities.
- A proven ability or aptitude for leading and motivating a team to achieve business targets in a B2B or automotive environment.
- A thorough understanding of the core processes necessary to deliver centre excellence in specified area.
- Possess a high degree of IT literacy.
- Minimum GCSE in Maths and English Language or equivalent.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About TPSTPS is a leading trade operation owned and run by Volkswagen Group UK Limited, offering the ultimate trade experience delivering Volkswagen Group Genuine Parts to our customers daily. We have over 83 TPS Centres throughout the UK and are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers.
LocationThis role is based in the UK, and we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
