Support Worker for Young Adult with Dystonic Cerebral Palsy

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to a young adult with dystonic cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
About the Role:- Provide personal care and support to the client with daily living tasks, including transfers, dressing, and hygiene.
- Assist with seizure monitoring and postural management during waking nights.
- Engage in social activities with the client, promoting independence and community integration.
- Support the client's therapy program, including physical development and mobility exercises.
- Perform domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Experience working with individuals with complex health needs, particularly those with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the client, family, and healthcare professionals.
- Patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion when interacting with the client.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the client's changing needs and preferences.
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.00-£16.00.
- Ongoing training and support provided to ensure the highest quality care.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
- Free DBS check.
