Highway Drainage Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our highways team in New Alresford, Hampshire.

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Vacuum Tanker (Gully Tanker) with utmost safety
- Maintain roadside drainage network
- Work will be conducted in pairs, distributing workload effectively
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- 10 hours per shift, totalling a 50-hour workweek.
Pay Rate:
- Night Shift: £16.74 per hour
Enhanced rates and bonuses for hours worked outside of standard hours and for meeting specific performance targets.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Willingness to actively participate in physical demands of the job
- Previous experience in road or drainage environment beneficial though not mandatory
