Brief Description

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Southern Region team on a permanent basis. Based at our London Blackfriars office, you'll work closely with our Kent Operations Team to bring our People Plan to life, championing a high-performance culture and providing expert HR support across various initiatives. You'll have opportunities to collaborate on Regional HR projects and enjoy flexible/hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days per week in the office.

About the Role
  1. Delivering Strategic Initiatives: Implement our HR Strategy and People Plan, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and change management to drive business objectives and enhance performance.
  2. Building Strong Partnerships: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing coaching and HR expertise to drive effective people management solutions.
  3. Providing Hands-On Support: Act as a key HR point of contact for initiatives such as organizational change, senior appointments, and talent programs, ensuring a seamless and responsive approach.
  4. Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with our broader HR team and Centres of Expertise, as well as Union representatives, to deliver integrated solutions.
  5. Empowering Managers: Champion people management responsibilities among line managers, reinforcing a high-touch, high-impact HR service model.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  1. Critical Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business needs, with a proven track record of partnering effectively with senior managers.
  2. Influencing and Impact: Skilled in coaching and influencing senior leaders, you have experience implementing best-practice HR solutions that drive results.
  3. Technical HR Knowledge: CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) with strong technical HR knowledge and experience in complex environments.
  4. Exceptional Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to negotiate, influence, and engage at all levels.
