Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a highly skilled Inclusion and Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our SEND provision and ensuring that students have the necessary support to access and succeed in their chosen fields of study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate with the Head of Department and curriculum teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance SEND provision in line with best practices and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Provide Targeted Interventions: Provide targeted interventions to support students, ensuring they have equitable access to educational opportunities.
- Foster a Culture of Growth and Improvement: Foster a culture of growth and improvement, promoting inclusivity and student-centered support.
- Collaborate with External Stakeholders: Collaborate effectively with external stakeholders to achieve our educational objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience in SEND Provision: Experience in managing SEND provision within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice: Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and government SEND initiatives.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Qualifications: A degree or equivalent professional qualification in teaching/SEND, or substantial relevant experience.
