Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Testing Specialist to join our team at Edenred Payment Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and previous testing experience, with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize gateway validation of new/changed products on Testing environments to ensure exact match to agreed customer requirements specification.
  • Validate new/changed products on Testing environments from a client's perspective prior to formal user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain test plans based on collated requirements.
  • Improve testing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Log, track, and analyze issues resulting from internal system integration testing, collaborating with internal teams and project managers on issue resolution and retesting.
  • Support clients during formal user acceptance testing, reproducing and resolving issues, and maintaining a known issues list.
  • Contribute to process improvements, procedures, and tools used daily for quality and efficiency enhancements.
  • Ensure delivered product changes meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, service, and project managers to ensure consistency in product changes.
  • Communicate effectively on internal validation, user acceptance testing, issue investigation, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of SQL, including writing basic-intermediate queries.
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX commands for navigating directories and viewing files.
  • Technical background and testing experience.
  • Ability to understand and learn technical information quickly.
  • Familiarity with XML.
  • Comfortable working in a technology space, solving client testing issues, and issues within this domain, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently and follow through to deliver objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Great organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated to attain desired objectives and outcomes.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Tools.

Desirable:

  • Support experience.
  • Experience in the card payments industry.
  • JIRA experience.
