We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Prison Support Worker to join our team at Red 5 People. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings, providing one-to-one guidance and support to facilitate their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing individualized support and guidance to facilitate their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
  • Work closely with clients to set goals and milestones, and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including probation officers and prison staff, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and community organizations to secure employment opportunities for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting.
  • Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance misuse, or homelessness.
  • Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary experience are also encouraged to apply.
