Environmental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Health Officer to join our team at Belmont Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with us to achieve our objectives, using their own initiative to develop, prioritise and review activities. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out day-to-day activities, including the completion of inspections and investigations across the service area, monitoring progress on works specified and keeping records, as required.
- Programmed routine and reactive food hygiene inspections.
- Complaint investigations across Food Safety.
- Appropriate enforcement in line with our enforcement policy and principles.
- Maintaining accurate records, including those stored in Northgate and other systems, and statistics.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Environmental Health (e.g. degree or diploma), with certificate of registration from EHORB.
- Membership of CIEH.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Environmental Health and excellent communication skills. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about public health, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
