About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Counsellor and Wellbeing Adviser to join our Student Services team. As a pivotal member of our frontline team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' mental health and wellbeing through individual and group counselling, workshops, and drop-in services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidential records and adhere to safeguarding policies
  • Collaborate with Colleges' support services to ensure a holistic approach to wellbeing
  • Provide professional Wellbeing Support services, particularly with children and young people
  • Manage caseloads and maintain strong communication and empathy skills
Requirements
  • Registered professional with substantial counselling experience
  • Qualification in Counselling at Diploma Level or higher
  • Membership of an ethical body, such as BACP, UKCP, or NCS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
