Child Care Professional

This role offers a salary of approximately £25,000 per year.
In this position, you will be working closely with the head teacher/manager to oversee and contribute to planning and implementing the curricular programme for early years children. You will also support other practitioners in assessing and recording individual progress, ensuring that care needs are met and educational experiences are provided.
The successful candidate will work up to 195 days per year on various working patterns (Monday to Friday), term time working or equivalent. The Angus Council ELC settings operate various models, including Model 1, which has a funded entitlement of 190 set days at 6 hours per day.
You will have weekly planning and preparation time, as well as agreed collegiate time. Additionally, you will liaise with the early years manager and head teacher/manager to ensure that all necessary requirements are met.
Membership of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is essential, and commitment to gain registration with the SSSC in accordance with their requirements is also required.
