We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our musculoskeletal services.
Key Responsibilities- Rotate across various specialities, including general outpatient, trauma and orthopaedic, aquatic physiotherapy, pain management services, fracture clinic, gym rehabilitation, pelvic health, hand rehabilitation, haemophilia, occupational health, and rheumatology.
- Manage your own caseload, working closely with other outpatient team members and mentoring band 5 colleagues, therapy technicians, and undergraduate students.
- Build relationships with new teams and contribute to clinical education, audit, and research initiatives.
- Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team and/or multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of previous experience and participation in audit.
- Contributing to clinical education of less experienced staff, students, or assistants.
- Clinical Supervision of students and assistant staff.
- Previous experience at Band 6.
- Experience or knowledge of working in a community setting.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and delegate.
- Demonstrate Assessment, Analytical, and Reflective skills across a diverse patient group.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to travel between sites.
- Knowledge of clinical Governance and its application to Physiotherapy.
- Ability to effectively perform patient assessments and interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic handling.
