Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Adult Therapies Service as a Musculoskeletal Rotational Physiotherapist in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Technicians, providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Main Duties

As a Musculoskeletal Rotational Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own caseload, working closely with other outpatient team members and mentoring Band 5 colleagues, Therapy Technicians, and undergraduate students.
  • Rotating across various specialities, including General Outpatients, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Aquatic Physiotherapy, Pain Management Services, Fracture Clinic, Gym Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health, Hand Rehabilitation, Haemophilia, Occupational Health, and Rheumatology.
  • Building relationships with new teams and developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and integrated team environment.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:

  • Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team and/or multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of previous experience and participation in audit.
  • Ability to contribute to clinical education of less experienced staff, students, or assistants.
  • Ability to clinically supervise students and assistant staff.

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • Previous experience at Band 6.
  • Experience or knowledge of working in a community setting.
