About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Paulton Memorial Hospital as a Band 6/7 Physiotherapist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a combined role, combining the skills and expertise of a Band 6 and Band 7 Physiotherapist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions, using a range of clinical and non-clinical facts to inform treatment plans.
  • Plan and implement rehabilitation programmes, working closely with patients to set goals and measure outcomes.
  • Use advanced techniques and approaches to manage musculoskeletal conditions, including manual therapy, facilitation techniques, and gait re-education.
  • Work closely with GPs to refer patients for specialist intervention when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of changes in the role of the Physiotherapist in primary care.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience and CPD in relevant MSK clinical settings.
  • Ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises.
  • Ability to carry out a range of assessments and procedures in order to make a clinical diagnosis.
