About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Paulton Memorial Hospital as a Band 6/7 Physiotherapist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a combined role, providing physiotherapy services to patients in Outpatients and GP surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients, using clinical and non-clinical facts to inform treatment plans.
  • Plan and implement rehabilitation programs, working with patients to set goals and measure outcomes.
  • Use manual therapy, facilitation techniques, and other evidence-based treatments to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with GPs to refer patients for specialist intervention when necessary.
  • Develop and implement changes to the role of the Physiotherapist in primary care, working with the head of MSK and other PBPs.

Requirements

  • HCPC (Physiotherapist) registration.
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Evidence of experience and CPD in relevant MSK clinical settings.
  • Ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises.
  • Ability to carry out a range of assessments and procedures in order to make a clinical diagnosis.
