We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Spire Healthcare. As a Chef, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional food and service through all areas of hospitality, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Support the head/senior chef in maintaining standards and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to HACCP guidelines and ensuring efficient delivery of food throughout all hospitality areas.
- Foster a culture of assistance between kitchen and server staff, as well as all departments within Spire Healthcare.
- Lead by example and ensure consistency of all food production and presentation.
- Previous Chef/Cookery experience is essential for this role.
- NVQ level 2 or higher is preferred, as well as a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training in specific areas is required.
- Knowledge and experience in similar establishments is highly valued.
- Professional self-starter able to work unaided and highly organized, capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
