Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at The Grove. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, fresh, and home-cooked meals to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff, ensuring a varied and culturally sensitive diet.
  • Cater to special events and celebrations, providing exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager and Nutritional Therapist to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Participate in inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to manage a team and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
