About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Southwark. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of Teaching Assistants within the school's SEND Provision, providing support to students with additional needs such as autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with SEND.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students in both the main classrooms and the SEND Provision, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with SEND receive the necessary accommodations and modifications.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for students with SEND.
