SEN Support Assistant

Career Teachers is collaborating with primary educational institutions seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in assisting children with diverse Special Educational Needs (SEN), including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and various learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in early years through to Key Stage 2.
  • Utilize relevant and recent experience within a primary educational setting.
  • Maintain a current DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain a new one.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
  • Demonstrate creativity and proactivity in enhancing the learning experience.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player to positively influence children's educational outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience or qualifications in supporting children with SEN.
  • Willingness to undergo reference checks and provide an up-to-date DBS.
