Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and handling counter sales transactions efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and escalate complex issues to the sales team as needed.
  • Assist customers with product information and order processing, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
Warehouse Operations:
  • Receive, pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately, maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Manage inventory, conduct regular stocktakes, and collaborate with transport companies to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Participate in safety training, report incidents, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working counter sales in a similar role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and take an active approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of pumps, fans, electrical, HVAC, or refrigeration products preferred.
  • A valid counterbalance license and driver's license.
  • Be self-motivated to develop and learn, potentially with thoughts of becoming a territory manager in future.
  • Physically fit and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical.
  • Must have a clean criminal record.
  • Reside in New Zealand and have secured working rights.
Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. This includes a competitive base salary, performance-based bonuses, and opportunities for professional growth.
