Job Title: Wellness Coach - Community Health Specialist

Estimated Salary: £22,308 to £25,000 per year (Pro Rata Part Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Coach to join our team as a Community Health Specialist. As a key member of our health promotion team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based health interventions to adults and families across Oldham.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced wellness professional to join our dynamic team. As a Community Health Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering ABL's adult/family weight management programme, including nutrition, behaviour change, and exercise delivery through group sessions and one-to-one consultations.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, comprising specialist lifestyle coaches, nutritionists, dietitians, GPs, psychotherapists, and exercise specialists. Your expertise will help us deliver holistic and realistic weight management solutions to people in the community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering health promotion/public health interventions in community settings.
  • Degree in nutrition and/or eligible to be registered as an associate or full member of the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists.
  • CIMSPA qualified Level 2 Gym instructor/Group exercise award or equivalent.
  • Sports Coaching qualification.
